Fighting the plans to double the size of Easter Compton

South Gloucestershire Council have proposed to build 450 new houses in Easter Compton. This would more than double the number of houses in the village.

More than doubling the number of houses in Easter Compton would increase pressure on schools, health services and overwhelm our road network. The proposals would create more congestion and raise issues about road safety and the impact on local pollution levels.

Easter Compton is an historic village, which does not have the infrastructure to support such large-scale development, and we are calling on Liberal Democrat run South Gloucestershire Council to reconsider their plans.

We need your views on the plans to more than double the number of houses in Easter Compton, so we can demonstrate the community’s views clearly to decision makers at the Council. If you can fill in the 60-second survey below, sharing your thoughts, we can fight these proposals to double the size of Easter Compton together as a community.
