Conservative councillors have criticised the Labour Group for attempting to ‘torpedo’ the public consultation on the future of Filton Airfield during a Full Council debate tonight.

The Labour Group had tabled a council motion calling for a decision on the airfield’s future tonight, even though the public consultation runs until 24th October.
